Max Temkin helped launch Cards Against Humanity in Kickstarter back in 2011. The game has become a hit since its release. It allowed other card games makers to enter the market and has given life to other popular games like "Exploding kittens" The company has become famous for doing outrageous black friday sales every year and this year is not any different. For 2019 Cards against humanities made its writers fight an A.I to see who could sell more cards or else they would be fired. The campaign was a success making some 140,000 dollars in the curse of the 16 hours the competition lasted with the writers edging the computer by some 2 thousand, saving their jobs for the "foreseeable future" as an update on the website cardsagainsthumanity.com read.

The sale event does not come close to the insane things the company has done in the recent years. In 2016 they promised to dig a hole in the ground for as long as people keep sending them money, this year they managed to get $100,573 before finalizing the campaign.
